Chiropractor Journals, Groups and Information

Reading/listening on Chiropractic / Manual therapy

Two sides to Chiropractic and two Australian Associations

I belong to Chiropractic Australia (CA) because it is the association that is most closely aligned with evidenced based medicine and the choosing wisely approaches. CA also funds iCarechirocast a podcast on worldwide evidenced based chiropractic research and developments. The CA Chiropractic & Manual Therapies is an open access journal that aims to provide chiropractors, manual therapists and related health professionals with clinically relevant, evidence-based information. Both these provide high quality scientific information.

I do not belong to the alternative organisation, the Chiropractors Association of Australia (ACA). Chiropractic Journal of Australia is its technical publication and the organisation has close ties with the Australia Spinal research Foundation that has a subluxation based research agenda. The ACA has a podcast that is an interesting listen.

Social Media

Evidenced Based Chiropractors is a Facebook group with over 8000 members and growing and is a great read with clinically useful research information and discussion.

Clinically useful podcosts
